Li Yi Wan received her Bachelor of Music (Honors) and Diploma of Music from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She started her first lesson at the age of six and enrolled at the Academy at the age of seventeen. She continued her study in the academy in piano performance with professors Mr Ma Cong and Ms Eva Lue. Li also had series of private lessons with renown pianist Stephen Savage.

As an all rounded pianist, Li’s interest in chamber music leads her to work with her colleagues in the academy, receiving coaching from Ms Nancy Loo, Mr Kam Wing Chong and Ms Yap Man Shan. Fascinated by early music performance, she took harpsichord as minor instrument under the tutorship of Ms Betty Li.

As a performer, Li has been performing as soloist in different occasions and as accompaniment with other musicians in concerts and competitions.

Li also gives lessons since year 2009.
