Elsa graduated with a bachelor degree of business administration and a honors diploma in law and business from Hong Kong Shue Yan University. She later obtained a master degree in education majoring in music from the Education University of Hong Kong. Elsa’s enthusiasm in music has extended her qualifications in that particular field and she obtained ATCL from Trinity College and various qualified certificates in piano, music theory, violin from ABRSM. She has also won distinctions and prizes in the festivals held by Hong Kong School Music and Speech Association and distinguished honors in Hong Kong (Asia) Piano Open Competition. 

Elsa’s prodigious talent in music was inspired by Ms. Stella Tsang and Ms. Zhao Ning who are dignitaries in piano performance and philharmonic orchestra. Elsa is currently a concert master of Hong Kong Progressive Philharmonic Orchestra and a senior member of Hong Kong Metropolitan Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also an accompanist in a choir organized by Caritas, a well-established NGO in Hong Kong. 

Elsa has dedicated her career in music by sharing her knowledge and experience with her students. She has more than 10 years of experience in teaching piano and advanced theory in music while many of her students getting distinction in public examinations and prizes in local music competitions. Apart from offering private one on one lessons, Elsa is also a senior music instructor of Yip’s Children’s Choral & Performance Arts Centre who is responsible in leading a group of 35+ students in a module of musical performance.
