Sandra Chingyu Lam started her piano training at the age of six and she was graduated from the Bachelor of Arts in Music in the Hong Kong Baptist University.

Being taught by Dr. Helen Cha, Dr. Karl Lo and Mr. Cui Shi Guang, Lam has won Prizes in The 19th Hong Kong - Asia Piano Competition in 2016 and The 4th Macao - Asia Pacific Youth Piano Competition in 2015.

Lam was the receiver of the Special Talent Award in HKBU College of International Education for two successive years, the Talent Development Scholarship of the HKSAR Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme 2014/15 and the Talent Development Scholarship of the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund 2016/17.

Apart from The London Trinity LTCL in piano, Lam also attained ABRSM Grade 8 in double bass. Lam is active in orchestra performance and has performed with HKBU Symphony Orchestra, HKBU Wind Symphony, HKBU String Ensemble, Gustav Mahler Orchestra, Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, Millennium Youth Orchestra, Hong Kong Festival Orchestra, Hong Kong Chordophonia, the Strings Amarta and Hong Kong Music Academy etc.

Eager to be an all-rounded musician, Lam also participated in choir performance with HKBU Women's Chorus, music education and took part in administrative works in art groups such as the Hong Kong Art Administrators Association, Gustav Mahler Orchestra and the Strings Amarta.

林靖茹自六歲起學習彈鋼琴，畢業於香港浸會大學音樂系。林曾師隨查海倫博士、盧嘉博士及崔世光老師習琴，並在2016年 第十九屆香港 － 亞洲鋼琴公開比賽中的德彪西組及自由選曲青年組分別獲得第一及第二名，林亦在2015年 第四屆澳門 － 亞太青少年鋼琴公開比賽中的自由選曲E組獲得第一名。

林靖茹在2013/14和2014/15連續兩個學年獲香港浸會大學國際學院頒發的國際學院特別才能獎，以及在2014/15及2016/17學年獲頒香港自資專上獎學金計劃和香港特別行政區政府獎學基金的才藝發展獎學金。

除英國倫敦聖三一學院的鋼琴文憑證書之外，林亦考獲英國皇家音樂學院的低音大提琴八級證書， 並活躍於多個管弦樂團的表演活動，曾與香港浸會大學交響樂團、浸會大學管樂團和浸會大學弦樂團等樂團、馬勒樂團、香港青年交響樂團、新世紀青少年管弦樂團、香港節慶管弦樂團、及香港弦人合作。

林不只涉獵鋼琴和交響樂團的表演活動，她亦曾在香港浸會大學女聲合唱團裡表演、參與香港藝術行政人員協會、馬勒樂團和 The Strings Amarta 的統籌工作，並熱心音樂教學工作，以成為一個全能音樂人為目標。
