Biography
Law Xi Ning Kening, graduated from the Michigan State University(MSU) with a master degree in clarinet performance, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) majoring in composition and clarinet and the Hong Kong Chinese University (HKCU) with a postgraduate diploma in Education of primary music.  In HKBU, Law studied electronic music with Doctor Christopher Keyes, and composition with Doctor Christopher Coleman. Her clarinet teachers include, John Koljonen, Martin Choy, Lau Wai, Guy Yehuda and more.
 
Law start playing clarinet in secondary school. She had been joining local orchestras and symphonic bands. For example, the Hong Kong Festival Youth Wind Orchestra (HKFYO), the Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia, and more. She was also a member of the MSU wind symphony, MSU symphony band, Hong Kong Festival Wind Orchestra and Hong Kong Baptist University Orchestra.  Besides, Law actively participated in exchange programs and masterclasses by professional clarinetist, including Eli Eban, Yehunda Gilad, Ricardo Morales, etc.
Apart from joining orchestras, bands, and exchange programs, Law was being invited as a soloist for HKFYO, playing Weber clarinet concerto No.2 in 2014. Law has over 7 years of music teaching experience in both private and class settings.
