Biography
 
Native of Hong Kong, Ida Tse started learning the violin at age seven and studied with Christine Wong Kar-Yee, violinist of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Other than individual music training, she was also trained at her school choir, orchestra, and string quartet at a young age.
 
Ida obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance at the Australian National University, studying under Tor Frømyhr, Chair of the String Department. During the three-year of study, she was invited to participate in masterclasses and Festivals, performing solo and chamber works.
 
Recently, Ida graduated with a Master of Music Studies degree in Violin Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, under the tutelage of Associate Professor Ole Bøhn, Norwegian violinist and pedagogue. She has studied chamber music with cellist Georg Pedersen, pianists David Miller AM and Jeanell Carrigan, and worked with pianist Phillip Shovk.
 
 
In early 2017, Ida performed with renowned pianist Stephen Wong, and cellist Ashley Ng (Boston Conservatory) at the Hong Kong Baptist University.
